OUR ROOTS
WHO ARE WE?
We are a family business with more than 50 years of experience in the fruit and vegetable sector. As a result of our efforts and know-how, today we are specialists in production, packaging and international export of fruit and vegetables from Almeria, always with the highest quality guaranteed by the standards of Europe, the USA and Canada. All of this while respecting the values that our ancestors instilled in us and that we still keep alive: the love for our land and the agriculture of Almería.
We are proud of our roots and our agricultural sector. Both make us grow with enthusiasm and satisfaction for what we have achieved so far.

Timeline
OUR DEVELOPMENT
1965
Francisco Maleno García began his commercial career with his own and his family's small production.
1984
We set up our limited liability company
FRANCISCO MALENO GARCÍA S.L. was born.
1990
We started exporting internationally, France being the first destination with Almeria cucumber as a product.
2002
We are opening our new warehouse with more than 4000 square metres.
2005
GLOBAL GAP
We get the internationally recognised standard for agricultural production
2008
We have become a benchmark in the sector.
Our hard work is beginning to pay off and we are growing exponentially in resources and employees.
2009
BRCGS e IFS
We were able to get both certificates thanks to the good work, hard work and perseverance of a great team of people who, although not without difficulties, take care of the quality of our products and brands.
2019
Cepyme 500.
We have been awarded by the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises CEPYME as one of the 500 leading companies in business growth.
FRANCISCO MALENO GARCIA SL has been a beneficiary of the European Regional Development Fund whose objective is to improve the use and quality of information and communications technologies and access to them and thanks to which it has implemented anti-malware and backup copies, to improve the competitiveness and productivity of the company. This operation took place during 2021. To this end, it has had the support of the CYBER SECURITY programme of the Almeria Chamber of Commerce.
